Fine Art Collection of a New Jersey Gentleman

This presents a stunning collection from a New Jersey Gentleman who carefully acquired and collected such a beautiful selection of artworks over many years. This sale offers paintings, works on paper, and fine art prints unearthed from his private home. Old Masters, Impressionism, Fauvism, Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism, and Contemporary Art are all featured in this catalog. A gouache on artist board from Harry McCormick is on the auction block at Lot 64. This beautiful painting depicts an impressionist style forest scene. It is signed in the lower left in pink by the artist. The sight is 17” by 14” and the frame makes it 22” x 18”. This is in good condition with just a few small chips at the extreme edges. An estimated value is $40o to $600 so this is an amazing buy at auction and is not to be missed.
One of the real highlights comes from Vassyl Khmeluk at Lot 122. Opening at only $1000 on the auction block, this beautiful artwork is a post impressionist oil on canvas still life with flowers in a vase. It is signed in the lower right “V. Khmeluk”. This artwork is 21” by 12 ½” with a framing that is 30 ½” by 21 ¾”. The verso bears a PB84 label, saying Sale 767 Lot 1171. This is in good condition with some tenting and soiling. Estimates are this painting could go as high as $3000 at auction.
Theodore Rousseau has a wonderful artwork available at Lot 125. Presented here is an oil on canvas depicting a farmhouse. This painting is 7 ½” by 11 ½” with a frame making it 13” by 17”. The verso bears various labels along with some auction labels. This important piece of art is opening up for auction at $1500 and is estimated to sell for over $3000.
