Colonial Acres Fall Premier Numismatic Auction Coming On September 6th and 7th

Colonial Acres Coins is excited to present their Fall Premier Numismatic Auction for online bidding.  Over 1500 lots spread between both days will go through the auction block.  This is their premier auction showcasing many unique and seldom found items such as key date decimal coins, paper money, tokens and spectacular error coins and notes.  The live event will occur on September 6th & 7th @530pm EST (230pm PT) Live at the Hilton hotel in Mississauga with bidding online through Icollector.com.

The most coveted piece on the first day comes through at Lot 291.  This is an extremely rare 1859 1 cent piece.  Bidding opens at $15000 and the full description is:

“1859 1-cent, Narrow 9, Brass ICCS Certified VG-10 (Corrosion). This is a very Rare coin with less than 30 known examples. Most examples are in very poor condition. This coin has great eye appeal with full details throughout with Medium to light tones. The notation corrosion is very light and not distracting from the overall appeal of this coin. Worth a Premium Bid!”

Lot 1265 in the 2nd day of bidding is an incredible opportunity for serious collectors.  Colonial Acres is offering a 1937 specimen bank note set of 8.  Fully described as:

“A Complete Set of 8 1937 Specimen Bank Notes issued by the Bank of Canada in their November 1999 Sale! This Set is seldom offered to the public, with only 47-48 notes of every denomination being relesed, this is a rare oportunity to own a complete set. The set is all PMG Certified and contains the following 8 notes: BC-21S-i, $1 H/A Prefix, Narrow Panel (CUNC-64) , BC-22S, $2 A/B Prefix (AU-55), BC-23S, $5 A/C Prefix (CUNC-64), BC-24S, $10 A/D Prefix (CUNC-64), BC-25S, $20 A/E Prefix (CUNC-64), BC-26S, $50 A/H Prefix (CUNC-64), BC-27S, $100 A/J Prefix (CUNC-64), BC-28S, $1000 A/K Prefix (CUNC-64). Also note that the $2, $5, & $10 Bills were printed by the British American Bank Note Company and only have the Perforated Words “SPECIMEN” diagonally across the notes, where as the $1, $20, $50, $100, & $1000 were printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company and have the Diagonal perferations along with the 4 holes punched along the lower signature blocks.
