Rich Penn and his wife Sharon have been antique lovers for all of their lives. They collected and bought and sold antiques during their college days and built an outstanding passion. They bring 40 years of experience and love for what they do, and are an outstanding partner for anyone to consign their collection to. As Rich Penn shares, “This could very well be the most significant auction of the year. Mark Wilson collected only the very best and he focused on the very best condition. There’s quality and quantity like you seldom see”.

This outstanding quality features highlights in large numbers throughout the sale. Early in the first day of the sale bidders will notice a very nice Stoneware Ice Water Cooler. This piece is in excellent condition and is 50 gallons. The pictures and full description can be viewed on iCollector.com at lot 187. Many collectors of Stoneware will be participating here and bidding on this un-reserved item will be competitive.

Salesman’s samples are always one of the most sought after items in these types of auctions. Into the third day at lot 1504 is a truly beautiful Salesman’s sample derrick. There is a working crank that lowers and raises the lifeboat, and there is an intricate brass mechanism surrounded by wood and metal. This is from the early 1900’s and is in full working condition. The photos demonstrate the pristine condition and care this sample has had for over 100 years.

One of the best collectible advertising signs in the sale is shortly after the salesman sample at Lot 1548. This is a Petroliana sign with Marathon Gasoline and the quote “Best in the long run”. The piece is porcelain and is 72 inches in diameter. This is in well preserved condition as are all of the pieces in this outstanding sale.
