New Frontier Old West Auctions Presents Over 380 Lots For Auction June 27th

381 Lots of Western Americana are up for auction on iCollector.com on Saturday June 27th, 2015 from New Frontier Old West Auctions. This wonderful auction includes a large assortment of highly collectible pieces that are both quality and rare. Items in the auction span many categories and will be a pleasure for any type of collector. The auction begins at 4PM Mountain Time from Loveland, Colorado and absentee bidding will be available right through until the live auction.

This auction includes cowboy and cowgirl pieces, posters, books and photo graphs. There are boots, spurs, hats, bits, chaps and some gorgeous saddles. Also, bidders will find knives, pommelbangs, holsters, furniture, and firearms. As well, there is a selection of Native American artwork to bid on throughout the sale. Bidding on this auction will be brisk and exciting from the first lot until the last.

A highlighted saddle in the auction is up for grabs to the highest bidder at Lot 188. This is a Canon City mounted saddle from a seldom seen Nebraska maker named FA Dooley. This beautiful saddle is heavily flower tooled from top to bottom, with a tall nickel horn, and stylishly mounted with Canon City Prison fully engraved in silver. Also part of the design is a spectacular mounted ox bow set of stirrups. The saddle is in wonderful condition and is so rich in color it is a must have. Bidding will be opening at $2250 and this could fetch at least $4500 at auction due to its outstanding quality.

A great set of spurs is set to sell at Lot 193 in the online catalog. One of the feature highlights of the sale, these are GS Garcia Dandy Spurs with a pre-sale estimate of $6500 to $9500. These are amazing double silver inlaid spurs in a highly sought after pattern. This is catalog pattern #75/75A of the 1898 Garcia Saddlery catalog, with finely engraved silver and great period straps. Any collector of spurs will consider this an item they must bid on, and bidding is expected to be brisk.

A Western auction is never complete unless there are some Winchesters up for auction. At Lot 207 is another stand out of the sale, an 1873 Winchester Deluxe model rifle. This is very scarce and was a special order in 1873 with 24” octagon barrel, a full magazine, upgraded wood, and a crescent butt. This is a nice solid rifle with traces of original finish, and has smoothly functioning action and a good bore. This is a hard to find rifle in 44 caliber, and is priced to sell with an opening bid of $4000.

Each lot has a quality photo and extensive description available to look at in the online catalog. New Frontier Old West Auctions and iCollector.com are excited to present this auction to round out the month of June.
