2000 Lots of Memorabilia and Collectibles Available at Auction on December 3rd

The very first lot of the auction is a fantastic Ray Lewis signed Baltimore Ravens Purple Prostyle Jersey that includes a JSA Hologram. Ray Lewis played his entire professional career for the Baltimore Ravens which spanned 17 seasons from 1996 to 2013. Lewis helped build his image over the years while being selected to 13 Pro Bowls and named an Associated Press All-Pro 10 times. He won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2000 and 2003, becoming the sixth player to win the award multiple times. Lewis was also the second linebacker to win the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award and the first to win the award on the winning Super Bowl team. After a triceps tear that sidelined him for most of the 2012–13 season, Lewis returned for playoffs and guided the Ravens playoff run and a victory in Super Bowl XLVII. A unique collectible is up for grabs at Lot 110. Presented is Mini Wheaties Commemorative Box. Wheaties is a brand of General Mills breakfast cereal. It is well-known for featuring prominent athletes on the exterior of the package, and has become a major cultural icon. Primarily comprising a wheat and bran mixture baked into flakes, it was introduced in 1924. This is a Wheaties- Whole Wheat Flakes- Ready to Eat unsigned mini Wheaties commemorative box (flat and unused) with Lou Gehrig image on back.

Hall of Famer Lou Brock has his autograph up for auction at Lot 220. In 1967, Lou Brock became the first player to steal 50 bases and hit 20 home runs in the same season. Brock was best known for base-stealing and starting Cardinals rallies. He was a 6-time National League All-Star, he led the league in runs two times (1967 and 1971), led the league in doubles (46 in 1968), and led the league in triples (14 in 1968). These official commemorative 3.5×6.5 envelope cachets in conjunction with each year’s Induction Day ceremony. They depict each year’s inductees in photos or artistic renderings.
