Original Fine Art of the American West – Online Only Auction January 14th

The Heart of the West Art Show and Auction has collected over 120 lots and put them up in an online auction running on January 14th, 2016. This is a new format for them to deliver beautiful pieces by auction to their worldwide audience. Up for auction is a fabulous offering of contemporary and Western art. This is their first online only auction format and will begin at 4PM Mountain Time, from Montana, on Saturday the 14th. Bidders can always leave their maximum bids ahead of the auction and the platform will bid on their behalf.

In the words of the artist: “Growing up my Grandmother always had yellow roses, and the teacup is one from her very own collection. Lot 63 is an important piece and needs to be seen in the online catalog. This is a painting called “Wild & Free’, from Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey. It depicts a group of beautiful horses and is the type of painting that catches interest of anyone who enters the room. This is a dye on silk that measures 38” by 50”. The artist shares these words: “These horses were photographed by photographer/friend Susan Papa – I rearranged them and bumped up the color.’. The auction presents a great sculpture near the end of the auction at Lot 115. This is a highly valued limited edition bronze on a black stone base by artist Brenna Tylor. Entitled “Dream Dancer”, this is a museum quality piece opening for bidding at $6000. The size is 33” by 24” by 10” and is described as a “heart of love”. The Dream Dancer is a spirit that reminds us to not only dream, but to set our dreams in motion. This sculpture embodies that belief and inspires people who view this piece and take a moment to reflect and take in the beauty and the meaning.
