With more than 2,000 available lots, art collectors will be sure to find something of interest among the many paintings, sculptures, furniture, historical items, clocks and Asian art pieces. For those unable to attend the live auction in Maine, iCollector provides a virtual platform that individuals can use to browse available lots and place bets online.

Paintings
One of the most highly valued pieces to go to auction is a signed and framed original painting by James Henry Cafferty titled Boy in Black Dress with Greyhound Dog (lot #1078). The framed piece measures 56 inches tall by 46.5 inches wide. Originally purchased from a private collection, this portrait features a young boy standing with a greyhound under his arm. Also available to collectors of American paintings is a landscape by Carl William Peters titled Wood's End (lot #1054). This landscape features a snowy forest scene with a house just visible in the background.

Furniture
This auction will exhibit a large number of unique antique furniture pieces to accent any home. Pieces of note include a late 19th century French lady's secretaire (lot #3101). This writing desk is elaborately decorated with inlaid foliate and floral decoration. Made of kingswood and rosewood with gilt metal ornamentation, this rectangular desk is a great example of Louis XV style marquetry. This auction also has many pieces of American furniture such as the early 20th century oak library table by Gustav Stickley (lot #3056). This table is in very good condition, still containing its original paper label.

Asian art
Asian art collectors will be very impressed by this auction's large number of valuable Asian items such as a porcelain Japanese vase decorated with flowers, figures and brocade patterns (lot #3541). Many small Asian sculptures are available, such as a mythical beast figurine dating back to the 3rd or 4th century A.D. (lot #3482). This interesting piece of gray pottery has a dragon-like face and short legs, making it a truly enigmatic figure. Additionally, you can find many articles of Asian jewelry, such as a jade bracelet (lot #3433) and a shadow agate pendant (lot #3526). Perhaps one of the most inspiring items is a 7 inch tall bronze Buddha (lot #3616).
