First Nations Art & Artifacts Auction Online Now and Live on June 27th

Canada’s premier auctioneer of First Nations Art and Artifacts are having their next auction on June 27th, 2015 hosted for live internet bidding on iCollector.com. Over 350 lots are up for grabs with an extensive array of items to choose from. This auction is featuring a superb Charles Edenshaw silver bracelet, a Haida totem 38” H. ca. 1900, and a Charlie James totem 31” H. This auction also features masks, daggers, Nuu-chah-nulth headdress ca. 1900, as well as a fine collection of baskets, stone mauls and bowls, and all kinds of beadworks. The highlighted bracelet is available for bidding at Lot 144. Here is a superb Charles Edenshaw Coin silver bracelet with Bellamy Eagle design and is circa 1900. This bracelet is in good condition and is 7 ¼” in length and 1 ¼” in width. Opening bids are being taken at $1000 and this has a pre sale estimate that exceeds $20,000. Bidding on this piece will be brisk and there is a gorgeous array of photos available for viewing online.

Lot 170 delivers an outstanding Haida totem circa 1900, which is estimated at $6000 to $8000. This is an early Haida hollwo back maple wood totem, carved with three watchmen. These three are Wasco with Halibut in Mouth, Raven with Broken Beak, and Beaver. This totem is in good condition and has its original pigment. There are 8 photos in the online catalog to allow for careful inspection of this stunning piece of artwork.

A standout mask is up for auction later in the sale. A 19th century Nuu-chah-nulth Dance Mask is in good condition and is sure to catch a lot of interest. This mask is 10 ¼” in height and 7 ¾” in width. This can be found in the online catalog, along with photos, at Lot 191 and could sell in excess of $5000. This is one of the feature pieces of the auction and is a must have for collectors.

Lot 212 is an eye catching piece and the photos are a must see. A David Neel Repousse 18K Gold Grizzly Bear Box with Abalone Inlay and carved bone bear heads on two sides is up for grabs. This is in fine condition and its dimensions are 3” in length, 2 5/8” in width and 2 ½” in height. Whatever price this fetches it will be a great addition to any collection and the presale estimates are $12000 to $18000.
