Artwork ready for display is prominent in this auction. Take a look at Lot 60 for a nice example. Presented here is a pen and ink work by Will James, entitled “Flint Spears at Breakfast”. This very nice piece of art is framed and 10” by 8”, with a signature from the artist in the lower left saying “Will James”. The back has a handwritten quotation saying “Flint Spears” Cap- A good breakfast was brought on, and as if was well planted, Flint again tried to talk her out of entering in bronc riding, Page 155, Chap. 11”. One of the best firearms up for auction is at Lot 106. This one is a Colt SAA US Calvary .45 Long Colt firearm. It is 7 ½ inches and RAC inspected with provisional proofs, matching serial numbers, original grips, and was made in 1891. The serial is 138560. This is a great gun for any collector of historical firearms and will come at a great price at auction.
A full beaded Sioux vest from the late 19th Century is drawing interest in the online catalog. This one is high quality with trade cloth lining and was in an early Encyclopedia Britanica Great Chiefs of the World displayed on Red Cloud. There are US Flags on the vest with 13 stars. This is an incredible piece in high condition and can be found for bidding at Lot 119 in the online catalog along with images ready for inspection.
