AOAV is presenting their next series of auctions with several fine art pieces hitting the auction block on December 13th. The auctioneer is running 10 auctions throughout December, and this is one of the highlights. Featured are a selection of fine paintings as well as interesting collectibles. All live auctions run at 5PM Pacific Time and absentee bids can be placed any time. AOAV takes a down payment and monthly installments for fine art so anyone can afford the luxury of investing in art.
Lot 2AB presents “Winter Fun” from Robert A Langdon. This was a winner of an award in France and is a beautiful depiction of children playing after school on a hill behind their parents home. There is a certificate of authenticity available and full provenance is available on request. This artwork measures 12 inches by 16 inches and is estimated in value as high as $25000. Bidding opens at just under $13000.
Another winter scene is next up at Lot 2AC. This is titled “Winter Pull’ and is another fine piece from Robert A Langdon. This is an original oil on canvas that is about 13 inches by 10 inches. Here, is a child pulling another child in the show in front of the family home. This is framed and done with acrylic paints from his brushes. This also comes with a COA and provenance and it opening for bidding at $5250.
In addition to the fine art, there is a pair of collectible figurines available for collectors. First up at Lot 2AD is a limited edition Drummer Toy. It comes with the box and certificate and is a great gift as well. This is a 1994 special collectors edition for the William Britain Collectors Club Toy Soldiers. It is 3 inches high and a rare and hard to find piece. It is in mint condition . The next Lot is labelled 2AE and is another toy Drummer. This is from the same collection and is a Bass Drummer. Also measuring 3 inches, it is in mint condition with it’s box and certificate. Both pieces have photos showing in the online catalog and are opening bidding under $100.
