November 13th and 14th Numismatic Auction from Colonial Acres Taking Registration and Bids Now

Colonial Acres Coins is hosting their live auction on November 13th and 14th 2015 with a carefully prepared selection of pieces and consignments for an international audience of collectors. Over two days this catalog presents almost 800 Lots up for grabs to the highest bidder. This featured auction encompasses all ranges of numismatic material including Canadian decimals, USA decimals, World coins and banknotes, Canadian paper money, and Maritime decimals. Also included is a selection of silver and gold bullion, tokens, and Royal Canadian Mint products. This auction comes live from Kitchener, Ontario and is expecting a great mix of online and auction floor bidders over the two days of action.

Canadian 5 cent pieces are one of the highlights of the auction. One such coin and Lot 245 is an excellent buy. This is a 1902H Large H NGC Certified MS67. This top graded coin features spectacular toning on the observe with bullseye toning on the reverse. This is a choice example coin. The presale estimate is $1500 to $2000. Further along at Lot 266 is another 5 Cent piece that stands out. This is a 1846 6/6 Variety graded ICCS MS64. This has a great value with a pre sale estimate of $1400 to $1500. Both lots along with all the 5 cent pieces have photographs available in the online catalog.

One of the highlighted 10 cent Canadian coins is up at Lot 313. This is an 1898 Obverse 6 piece graded MS63 by ICCS. The opening bid on this coin is only $599 and it will be a great buy for the winning bidder. A really great Canadian 10 cent piece is up for grabs at Lot 315 and will fetch several thousand dollars. This is a 1903 piece certified by ICCS at MS63. This is blast white and it’s a beautiful coin. High resolution photos are up for inspection online.

Canadian paper money features throughout the sale. A highlight of the 2nd day of auctioneering is Lot 631. Collectors of Dominion of Canada banknotes need to consider bidding here. Up for auction is a 1923 $1 banknote, DC-25w with Bronze Seal, Group 1 and Serial Number N-899688. This is a strong example of a Bronze Seal and is opening for bidding at only $2000. Dominion of Canada banknotes are highly sought after in today’s market and a great long term purchase for collectors of paper money. The very next lot in the sale, 632, is another important Dominion of Canada banknote from 1923. This is a $1 note that is DC-25i, Group 2, with a Bronze Seal and serial number of B5688524. This one is graded by PMG at CUNC-64 and is opening for bidding at $1449.
