Two Day Fine Art Auction from Ro Gallery on April 27th and 28th

Ro Gallery has returned to the auction calendar this month with an important auction of fine art to close out April. Over two days on April 27th and 28th, they present over 800 lots of artworks up for auction to the highest bidders from around the world. In the first day of the sale, the featured artists are an amazing list to choose from. Featured are Pablo Picasso, Yvaral (Jean-Pierre Vasarely), Bill Wiman, Andy Warhol, Raimundo de Oliveira, Peter Max, Wai Ming, Marshall Goodman, Joan Miro, Yaacov Agam, Bill Mack, Raymond Howell, Yuri Yurov, L. Presented are Walasse Ting, LeRoy Neiman, Jerry Okimoto, Jon Carsman, Mark Kostabi, Joan Nelson, Vladimir Kokolia, Robert Indiana, Neil Moore, Peter Nagy, Robert Kushner, Salvador Dali, John MacWhinnie, Alvin Carl Hollingsworth, Peter Max and many more. Both session begin at 11AM Eastern time on auction day with live bidding as well as absentee bidding every day leading up to the dropping of the auction hammer.

The most valued painting on the first day of auctioneering shows up early at Lot 55. This is a visually stunning work without equal. Presented is an oil painting entitled “Structure Ambique Cristal” from artist Jean-Pierre Vasarely (aka Yvaral). The artist lived from 1934 to 2002 and created this work in 1972. This is signed in the left corner and verso, and measures 43.5 inches by 65.5 inches. Bidding opens at $25,000 and this jaw dropping work has some beautiful photos in the online catalog ready for inspection. Estimated value of this is from $30,000 to $40,000.

Another equally outstanding work shows up on the second day at Lot 1210. A painting from Olivia De Berarsinis, born in 1948, is entitled Zou Zou (Josephine Baker). Created in 1991, this acrylic on canvas is signed and framed for the winning bidder. The size of the painting is 72 inches by 40 inches ,and the frame sets it out to be 79 inches by 47 inches. Bidding on this one of a kind artwork opens at $30,000 with the value estimated as high as $60,000.
