Over 1300 Lots are up for grabs from Carol Watson’s Orange Coast auctions in a two day sale Saturday and Sunday July 25th and 26th. Great care has been made to put together a selection of quality consignments backed by one of the best auction houses of firearms in California. This auction is featuring Winchester rifles, Colt revolvers, and collectible Sporting Rifles and Shotguns. There is also a selection of military rifles and pistols, modern handguns, and rare antique firearms. Rounding out the sale will also be a great offering of edged weapons and militaria.

The sale opens with some highlights early in the sale. At Lot 38 is very rare Roper Revolving Rifle #470. It is .42 cal with a 28 ½” round blue barrel, a case hardened frame, and walnut stock. The condition of this rifle is very good to near fine and the barrel retains approximately 60% thinning blue. The auction and bore are also good and this antique firearm carries an estimate of $4000 to $6000.

Lot 170 delivers an incredible and historical rifle that is a must have for serious collectors of Winchesters. This is a factory engineered Winchester Model 90 Pump Rifle #802491 with .22 LR cal and 24” octagonal barrel. This stunning model has blue finish, checkered pistol-grip fancy with walnut stock and forend, and standard front and rear sights. This was a special order gun considering the exceptional wood. The condition is excellent and retaining approximately 97% of the original factory blue. The stock, action, and bore are also excellent. This is a very lovely example of Ulrich engraving and overall factory work. This is available for bidding at an opening bid of $35000 and a full array of photos and detailed description are available in the online catalog.

Another incredible Winchester is up for auction in the second day. Carol Watson is offering a high condition first year Winchester 1894 lever action rifle serial #3790, at Lot 764.
