The Annual Cowboy & Indian Gun Auction from Reata Pass

On January 27th and 28th, 2018, , Reata Pass presents their annual firearms event featuring Cowboy and Indians. This auction is up for live and absentee bidding through iCollector.com and will be broadcasting live from Humbolt, Arizona with a fully interactive audio and video experience for the online bidders. All sessions will begin at 11AM Pacific Time each day. This auction brings over 1500 lots of firearms, knives, antiques, fine art, jewelry, fine art pottery, and more.

Lot 84 highlights the first day with an LC Smith Grade 2 12 gague rifle available for bidding. This collectible opens for only $1000 and the full description is as follows:

High quality American made side-by-side double barrel sidelock shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells, circa 1898. Features 30″ blued barrels with a raised matted rib & no barrel address, extractor, double triggers, silver bead front sight, case hardened receiver with engraved scroll patterns & game bird scenes including a woodcock on the right side, checkered top lever, sliding tang safety, fancy checkered walnut forend with ebony inlay at the tip & hard plastic medallion with a dog’s head motif inlayed in the center, and pistol grip shoulder stock with black grip cap, unmarked serrated buttplate & 14 1/8″ LOP. The receiver has been inscribed with the name “L. Keehn” on the left side. The shotgun exhibits approximately 67% of it’s original finish overall showing dulled case colors on the receiver with wear on the underside from use and thinned bluing on the barrels showing wear on the rear portion from carrying, muzzle wear and some scattered areas of wear. Action is crisp, bores are very good, and wood stocks are near fine as refinished. Condition is very good. ***C&R Firearm*** ***Modern Firearm***

Features a blued finish, 5″ barrel, Brown barrel bushing, full length steel guide rod, three-dot sights, serrated adjustable trigger, aftermarket thumb safety, enlarged beavertail grip safety, skeletonized hammer, oversized push button magazine release, factory 8 round magazine, serrated straight mainspring housing with beveled magazine well and Hogue one-piece pebbled black rubber wrap-around finger groove grips. Includes the factory grips and two spare magazines. Pistol exhibits approximately 90% of it’s blued finish showing heavy wear on the grip straps and scattered handling marks/scratches on the side of the frame & slide.
