On July 23rd and 24th, 2016, Reata Pass Auctions once again lights up their summer calendar with their Premier Summer Estate Auction. This auction is up for live and absentee bidding through iCollector.com and will be broadcasting live from Humbolt, Arizona with a fully interactive audio and video experience for the online bidders. Both sessions will begin at 11AM Pacific Time for the Saturday and Sunday auction sessions. This auction brings over 1200 lots of guns, knives, jewelry, animal mounts, hunting accessories, artworks, and more.

The Saturday session kicks off in fine form with a great Colt firearm ready for bidding at Lot 3. Presented here is a Colt Anaconda .44 Mag with serial number MM03181. The full description on the listing is as follows: “Premium stainless steel double action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. Features a satin finish, 6″ vent ribbed barrel, full underlug, pinned blade front sight, adjustable rear sight window, fluted six shot cylinder, partially serrated trigger, flat top frame, serrated hammer spur and Colt medallion black checkered rubber grips. Includes Coltg hard case. Pistol show light handling wear and a heavy drag line. Action is smooth, bore is pristine, and grips are fine. Condition is near excellent is case. ***Modern Firearm***’. This piece is so popular it looks to sell above it’s high estimate of $1200.

Two necklaces are available later in the day that are worth viewing. Lot 224 is a Navajo 8 Strand Coral Necklace with two photos available for inspection online. It has hand made sterling silver stamped beads and is made by Tony Aguilar. This carries a retail value of $2100 and sells to the high bidder opening online for only $200. At Lot 227 is a Natural Turquoise Old Pawn Necklace sure to get some attention. This is intermixed with small round beads on a string and accented with coral. Bidding is opening at $250 in the online catalog and this retails for $3600. Both pieces will hammer down for great prices to the winning bidders.

Another fantastic Colt firearm highlights the 2nd day of the auction. With a full array of photos online for inspection, presented for bidding is a Colt Peacemaker Centennial .44-40 at Lot 610. This highly sought after piece is fully described as follows: “Single action army commemorative revolver celebrating the 100 years anniversary of the handgun, chambered in .44-40 Win, circa 1973. Features a nickel plated finish, 7.5″ barrel with “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” etching, blade front sight, v-notched rear sight, bulls eye ring ejector, black powder frame & dates, first generation checkering on hammer, .44 C.F. stamped trigger guard, serialized & fluted six-shot cylinder and black checkered hard rubber federal eagle grips. Includes a dilapidated Colt wood grain box with syrofoam inserts and documents. Revolves shows only a faint dragline and minimal handling wear. Action is crisp, bore is excellent and grips are fine.
