Andy Warhol (1928-1987), is featured at Lot 1050. Entitled “Gems, FS IIA. 186”, this very important artwork is available with an opening bid of $25000. Presented here is a screenprint on Strathmore Bristol paper and signed in felt pen on the lower right by the artist. This incredible piece measures 30” by 40” in size and the frame size is 42” by 52”. Andy Warhol created this in 1978 and it is available live at auction with an estimated value of $30000 to $35000; the photos of this are in the online catalog.

A stunning photograph is up for grabs a few lots later from Lawrence Schiller (1936 – ). Lot 1062 brings a photograph of Marilyn Monroe in Something’s Got to Give. The year of this photograph is 1962 and this piece was printed in 2007. It is a Gelatin Silver Print and signed in ink by the artist with the edition AP 3/10. Measuring 60” by 48” this is an incredible photograph to put up for display. Bidding is opening at $7000 and this is estimated at $9000 to $12000.

A very interesting sculpture is part of this catalog at Lot 1096. Robert Cronbach (1908 – 2001) made this wonderful bronze sculpture entitled “Construction & Garment Worker” in 1938. This bronze sculpture has the signature and date in the cast and measures 18” by 11” by 11”. This is a great buy with an opening bid of $6000 and is sure to receive brisk action.
