Great heavyweight fighter Earnie Shavers is forever remembered for this fight with Mohammed Ali, and being one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight boxing history. Lot 3 in the catalog is a great signed replica fight poster from 1977. It measures 16 ¼” by 20 ½” in size and is hand signed in black felt tip pen by Shavers. He inscribed the photo with “Ali said, Shavers hit me so hard, it shook my kin folk in Africa”. Shavers fought for the world championship twice; once against Ali in 1977 and once against Larry Holmes in 1979. This great piece comes with an official Earnie Shavers Hologram for authenticity purposes. Get a piece of history from boxing’s hardest hitting heavyweight and bid on this feature item. It is approximately 8” tall and the original box is hand signed in gold paint pen. It also includes a vintage comic book. Lot 197 presents a Silver Surfer action figure signed by Mr. Lee. This one is 9” tall and is hand signed and includes a great display case and a comic book. The final Stan Lee autograph is up for grabs at Lot 205. This is another action figure and of the Hulk. It comes in its original box and measures approximately 8” tall. This one is also signed in gold pen. All three items come with PSA/DBA holograms and matching COA’s.
A basketball signed by an all time great is on the auction block at Lot 171. This is signed by Magic Johnson and is a full sized Spalding NBA Indoor/Outdoor basketball. It is hand signed in gold paint pen and includes an official hologram. This is a great collector’s item and is one of the highlight autographs of this sale.
