Firearms
The selection of both original and reproduction firearms at this auction is extensive. One of the most valuable pieces is an engraved Model 1860 Henry rifle (lot #126). The rifle was made by New Haven Arms, the company that would go on to make iconic Winchester rifles well into the next century. This historic item is embellished with the engravings of Samuel Hoggson on its side plates.

Those looking for smaller display pieces will enjoy the set of three engraved Belgian Browning semi-automatic pistols (lot #284). These three firearms are almost completely covered in Belgian-style scroll engraving and are composed of gold triggers and pearlite grips. The trophy guns are truly spectacular artistic pieces.

The collector interested in something a bit older should check out the French Model 1822 military pistol (lot #25). This beautiful antique has a brass buttcap, triggerguard and barrel band all in excellent condition. The walnut stock shines luminously in this naval-issue percussion pistol.

Edged Weapons
There are also a number of edged weapons being auctioned off at this event. Knife enthusiasts will be happy to see a custom blade by famous manufacturer R.W. Loveless (lot #162). This piece is in supreme condition, showing absolutely no use. The 5-and-⅞-inch blade clearly displays the maker's mark and comes with a leather sheath with snap closure.

The 1850 presentation officer's sword (lot #13) makes a great addition to any Civil War memorabilia collection. Featuring a skateskin grip and iron scabbard, the ceremonial sword was carried into battle with the Fourth Pennsylvania Reserves 33rd Infantry. This regiment marched toward Manassas in 1862 and continued to fight throughout the war. This is a fantastic piece steeped in American history.
