Antiques and Collectibles Hit the Auction Block from New Zealand This Week

Auction Kings has joined the worldwide group of auctioneers who broadcast their auctions for internet bidding around the world through iCollector.com. This week, they bring 100 lots of interesting antiques and collectibles up to the auction block, most selling with no reserve to the highest bidder. There is plenty to chose from including dinnerware, Royal Daulton, porcelains, tea and coffee sets, vases, and much more. Absentee bidding is available immediately, and live bidding opens at Noon on July 16th New Zealand time, which is 5PM Pacific Time in North America on Friday night July 15th.

Some featured highlights of the auction include a Mid Victorian Oak Desktop Legal Stationary Cabinet presented for bidding at Lot 57, and an “as new” vintage Rodd Camille Canteen of cutlery selling to the high bidder at Lot 97. There is also a boxed set of Rodd Silverware “Camille” Cutlery, also “as new”, up for grabs at Lot 46. All items have a photo available for viewing in the online catalog and bidding opens at 10 NZD for all pieces in the auction.

There are plenty of porcelain and pottery pieces available for buying. Lot 41 is a collectible Royal Daulton Kew Jardiniere that is a vintage piece for the winning bidder. Highlighted at Lot 16 is a great set of Blue Mountain Pottery that include a teapot, sugar, and creamer. The auction also has several sets of China, including Lot 58 which presents an assorted set including Royal Albert & Bayreuth pieces.

This auction will be a brisk and fun day of bidding. Plenty of treasures are up for auction, most without reserves, and all opening at 10 NZD.
