Another Great Radio Auction from Sargent Auction Service on October 14th

Sargent Auction Service is presenting over 270 lots for live auction on Saturday October 14th, 2017. This auction features wonderful vintage radios from the 20s to the 50s with something for every collector. In addition, there are phonographs, speakers, and console equipment. This was put together through 6 consignors and is a great way to get a piece of history at auction. Absentee bidding is available right up until auction day.

One of the featured radios of the day is at Lot 200. This awesome looking piece of history is a Zenith console model 15-U-270. It has been restored and is in working order. Bidding is brisk on this piece already and there is a great selection of photos in the online catalog.

Further down at Lot 238 is a cool looking Jackson-Bell Sunrise radio model 68. There is a great photo of the back showing the insides of the radio. This is a must see for collectors and opens for only $10 for bidding in the online catalog.

The top phonograph if the day is an Edison Standard phonograph up for grabs at Lot 220. It has a good motor and even has its original crank. The auctioneer has taken 5 photos and put them on display so bidders can see this beauty in action. This phonograph will hammer down to the highest bidder with no reserve.
