Native American and Western Art & A Collection of Firearms Up For Auction This Weekend

An original work of art painting by renowned Montana artist, Fred Fellows, is up for grabs at Lot 89. This piece shows a group of Montana Cowboys and Frontiersmen set in the mountain plains setting their wagons for dinner camp. There is a beautiful sunset depicted in the background. A beautiful piece of Native American work will hear the auctioneer’s hammer at Lot 116. This is a Blackfoot Buffalo Horse Mask circa 1840-1880. The mask is made of Buffalo hide and shows early glas trade seed beadwork on trade cloth. There are flat pound brass coins and white ferret fur accents to fill out the piece. This is extremely rare and a highly collectible item. It is in over all good condition and measures 26” x 21 ½ “. Absentee bidders have already made their move to win this piece, and bidders will get a great value as this will hammer in the range of $2000 to $4000.

A good representation of the selection of firearms in this auction is a Marlin Model 336A Lever Action .35 Remington calibre rifle up for bidding at Lot 96. This is a rare piece, showing over all good condition. The rifle was manufactured in 1950, and has a collectible Weaver KV 60 scope as an attachment.
