Firearms, Ammunition, and Hunting Accessories Coming September 9th

Landsborough Auctions from Ontario, Canada are preparing for their September 9th live auction. They are presenting over 560 lots of firearms, ammo, and great hunting accessories. This auction is expected to have a 100% sell through and is already getting great bidding in advance of the sale. The live auction begins at 9AM Eastern Time on Saturday September 9th, 2017.

Smith & Wesson feature in this auction. Lot 4 is the first one up and it is a revolver with 38 SPL and a 51mm barrel. It comes with wood grips and a stainless frame. The bore is very good and this is regulated as a prohibited firearm, with serial number 7446333347. Bidding is already active on this piece. Two lots later, at number 6, bidders can get their hands on a revolver with a 102mm barrel, with a very good bore, and wood grips. This Smith & Wesson is also classified as prohibited and has a serial number of K801239. There are a total of 7 S & W handgunds in the sale, bidders should preview them all in the online catalog.

Landsborough has over two dozen Winchester rifles up for grabs in the auction. Highlighted at Lot 235 is a Winchester Model 101 select field shotgun. Classified as non restricted, this is an over-under 12 GA with 28” barrels. The stock is in excellent condition, and the blueing and bore are as new. This shotgun also comes with eight invector-plus chokes, a choke wrench, and a manual. The serial number for reference is 13AMT01264. Bidding is already very brisk on what will be a series of very popular Winchester’s in the auction.

A highlighted vintage firearm is an 1849 French M1842-T Musket found at Lot 247. This antique is .76 caliber with a 40” barrel and a muzzleloader. The blueing appears to be strong and have a good patina, and the bore is pitted. This comes with a card detailing the history of this musket as traced by the previous owner. This is a great addition to any collection of antique and vintage firearms from the 19th century.

The entire catalog for September 9th is up for absentee bidding now, and each item has its own photo for pre inspection.
