Fabulous Estate Finds including Native American Art and Mexican Collectibles At Auction September 27th
On September 27th, 2015, 266 Lots are up for auction from Southwestern Style Collectibles. This carefully prepared auction offers a selection of Native American collectibles, jewelry, and artwork. Also, there are some fantastic Mexican collectibles, pottery, porcelain, and glass. This superb cuff features a detailed design in sterling silver done in traditional Hopi overlay. This is on wonderful vintage condition with superb quality and craftsmanship. The cuff measures 1 ¼” wide and the inside circumference is about 7 ½” including the gap. This weighs about 50 grams and is a great addition to a collection. There are some great pottery works in this auction. Lot 706 is a Navajo Yei Pottery from renowned artists Ken and Iren White. This is a hand coiled, glazed clay put featuring outstanding attention to detail with a yei and corn tribal design. The olla features a glazed finish and measures about 7” tall. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing on this outstanding piece. This pottery is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. At Lot 724 is a Pre Eagle Mexican sterling silver Taxco set with hand carved onyx. It is a warrior bracelet and brooch set in wonderful condition. The piece is marked with the words “sterling” and “Mexico”. This is a treasure for collectors of Mexican jewelry. This set will close out the sale and it estimated in value from $400 to $700.
