Artwork size: 20″ x 24″ | Frame: 26″ X 30″ | Medium: Oil | Artist’s description: “It was fun watching this guy laying in the snow feeding on a small morsel of an Elk carcass. He was ok with sharing some of the small bits and pieces with the Magpies, but not everybody got this privilege. The Ravens, although they kept trying, didn’t have a chance.” | Exhibiting in Bozeman August 10-12 in booth #47

Lot 38 is a stunning painting of a Native American child entitled “With A Heavy Heart”. This work by Kim Randleas is a great buy opening for auction at only $400. The full catalog description is:

Artwork size: 20″ x 16″ | Frame: 25.5″ x 21.5″ | Medium: Oil | Artist’s description: “Several rows of cowrie shells and multi-colored beads embellish a young Native American girl’s buckskin dress. With the full sun just hitting her cheek, she looks strong and confident despite her age, yet a steady focus could suggest something is weighing heavily on her mind. Certain children seem susceptible to taking on the weight of the world. For the highly sensitive child, feeling deeply is sometimes too much to bare. We may become heartbroken ourselves as we feel compassion for this child. But as Thich Naht Hanh said “Look at flowers, butterflies, trees, and children with the eyes of compassion. Compassion will change your life and make it wonderful.”” | Exhibiting in Bozeman August 10-12 in booth #20
