John Fasano (1961-2014) made his foray into feature films producing and directing Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare (1987), Zombie Nightmare (1987) and The Jitters (1989). John moved to Hollywood in 1989 and over the next 25 years John became one of Hollywood’s most prolific screenwriters. His credits include such notable projects as Another 24 Hours (1990), Alien3 (1992), Tombstone (1993), The Hunchback (1997), The Legend of Butch and Sundance (2006), Sniper Reloaded (2011) Hannah’s Law (2012) and Sniper 5 (2014). This auction brings his passion and lifetime of dedication to an audience of collectors who will share and celebrate his life and career while finding new additions to their collections.
Bidders will be fascinated during the first half of the sale with the material being offered up for auction. Coming in at Lot 61 in the online catalog is a screen used animatronics bust used in the movie The Jitters, which was directed by Mr. Fasano. This bust was used in the transformation sequence when Frank Lee returns from the dead and becomes “Kyonshi”, which is a Chinese version of a vampire. Adding to this interesting piece is a rare VHS tape of the original movie which will be an absolute delight as a collector’s item.
In the later stages of the sale is a wonderful mold from the original movie in the highly successful Alien series. This is a sculpted mold and was used by the studios to cast the limited edition Facehugger in 1979 that was sold in limited quantities.
